add line 78 .pdb files
Hi,
I am using a program that generates 1000s of .pdb model protein structures. I need to do some downstream processing using another script which requires the atom codes on column 78. However, this information is not written by the modelling software. Is there a script out there I can execute on 1000s of .pdb files and which will write output files containing the missing column 78?

Title says line but your post says column 78? So which is it?
You probably are going to need to provide examples of what a file looks like, location for the information that needs to be added and importantly where that information is going to come from.
