Find all nuclear genes the mRNA of which binds to the CLUH protein for transport to mitochondria?

Hello!

I need to find all nuclear genes (up to more than a thousand) that after transcription bind to proteins like CLUH, and are then transported to the ribosomes located near the mitochondria.

I've googled mitochondria databases but no luck. I've sent some e-mails but no luck there either.

Does anyone have any idea of how to tackle this? It is imperative that this is doable, or I won't be able to write my master's thesis. :[

Big thanks in advance!

Take a look at this paper and check the supplemental materials.

Nice find, thank you!

They have a list of the first 100 CLUH-related genes, but there might be more - and that list is from mice, rather than humans. I forgot to mention that I'm looking for human genes only.

I am not sure about the three tables. Do they list the significantly CLUH-associated genes? So not a complete list, then?

There are ~1500 nuclear genes related to mitochondria https://mseqdr.org/mb.php?url=genes.php

If you can come up with a GO term or some other gene set to describe your binding proteins of interest an overlap would be easy to generate.

An overlap?

A GO term overlap you mean?

What a great database you linked to! Didn't find that one when googling. Thanks!
