Job: Looking for an open-source programmer, Yokohama, Japan

Hi Biostars!

I am looking for an open-source programmer to support our bioinformatics project at the RIKEN Yokohama Institute. In brief, our projects revolve around transcriptome analysis, single cells, and high-throughput biology.

We are using a lot of tools from the open-source ecosystem, and I am committed to make a responsible and sustainable use of it; thus I have put an emphasis on collaborative programming in this open call: I would like somebody with the technical and social skills to get patches accepted upstream !

Of course, in addition to that, I hope that our research projects will be a fertile ground for original and innovative developments.

The open call is not yet translated in Japanese, but needless to say, Japanese people are very welcome to apply !

You can learn a bit more about us on my research unit's website.
