Pedigree selection from a huge family based data.

Dear all,

I need to select pedigrees from a huge family based data such that two related subject in the pedigree have experienced an event(e.g being case subjects).

The data file is consisted of below information :

Pedigree.ID , Individual.ID , Mom.ID , Dad.ID , Is.Case(0/1).

Is there any software or R package that select pedigrees?

What do you mean with "select"? Do you want to draw a pedigree? And what is "huge"? 15 individuals? 150? 523? 47000 ?

yes.

In fact, I want to make pedigree for linkage analysis.

Data set contains of about 14,000 individuals in 4,000 families and also single individuals (families of size one) are available.

I need families with two blood related case individuals.
