Anyone know what kind of cell line WT-ADRC-40 is?
Hi all, Can anyone tell me what what kind of cell line WT-ADRC-40 is? what does "ADRC" stand for? is it a healthy cell line or related to some disease? I found some information on http://web.expasy.org/cellosaurus/CVCL_HA43 but I dont know if it is from normal, healthy people..

"Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are complex neurodevelopmental diseases in which different combinations of genetic mutations may contribute to the phenotype. Using Rett syndrome (RTT) as an ASD genetic model, we developed a culture system using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from RTT patients' fibroblasts. RTT patients' iPSCs are able to undergo X-inactivation and generate functional neurons. Neurons derived from RTT-iPSCs had fewer synapses, reduced spine density, smaller soma size, altered calcium signaling and electrophysiological defects when compared to controls."

Thank you so much, so WT-ADRC-40 is a type of iPSC from RTT patients' fibroblasts ? but why does its name start with "WT" ? and I still dont understand what "ADRC" means.....
ADRC probably stands for Aging and Disability Resource Center or connection.
WT-number - cell line name. http://web.expasy.org/cellosaurus/CVCL_HA46 I am not sure it has a some special meaning
