How to check if a peptide binds to a protein based on QSAR
To determine whether a peptide binds to protein, for example, you need to model the AMP then see if it docks to gp41. Is there another simpler bioinformatics way to check if they bind together? If you use the QSAR method to compute physicochemical properties for both AMP and gp41, what criteria can you check whether they bind together?
