Do we have any other de novo assembly approaches than Graph based (OLC and De bruijn), Seed Extension(examples:SSAKE,VCAKE..) and String graph based?
Hello All, I know that we have the following de novo assembly approaches for assembling the reads from NGS technology. Taken the list from this paper (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=6616523)
1) Graph based (Overlap-Layout-Consensus, De Bruijn Graph)
2) Seed Extension (Some examples: SSAKE, VCAKE)
3) String graph (Efficient construction of an assembly string graph using the FM-index)
Do we have any other approaches besides the listed above approaches?
Thanks in advance.
