Job: Looking for a position in NGS microbiology

Hi there,

I'm a bioinformatician looking for postdoc in microbiology.

I mainly performed bioinformatic analysis, those being focused on bacterial genomics. The context is in host-pathogen interactions, plant disease prevention and control. Before entering research, I studied Pharmacy and Biotechnology, followed by a Master’s degree in Immunology.

During my PhD in Microbiology, research was related to the pathogenesis of Glässer’s disease, an infectious disease of swine caused by the bacteria Haemophilus parasuis. Our research involved design of experimental infections to study bacterial pathogenesis in their natural hosts. We analyzed bacterial responses using “-omics” data, especially transcriptomics.

I’m a highly motivated student open to job opportunities in Academia, research and industry.
