What is the minimum number of SNPs required for Plink to calculate accurate Identity by descent (IBD value)?

I was trying to determine the relationship of some samples in my vcf file, but I have only few thousand SNPs. Can someone please tell me how many SNPs do I need to calculate IBD using PLINK?
