What is the difference between NZ_ and NC_ identifiers at NCBI?

Hi,

I noted that some of my genomes are names with an NZ_ and other with NC_ identifier. What is the difference between them? Specifically, are NZ_ "complete" genomes?

NC - "Complete genomic molecule, usually reference assembly"

NZ - "Unfinished WGS"

But how can a genome be NZ_ and have status "complete" at this NCBI website: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/browse/ ?
