Problems creating Galaxy Admin privilages

Hello all,

I am trying to allow my account to have admin access on galaxy. I am using the galaxy tutorials found at: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Admin/GetGalaxy, but once i change the galaxy.ini.sample file to galaxy.ini.main and change the admin_users = None to admin_user = "erika_gedvilaite@yahoo.com", no change occurs in the main, web access account. I would like to pull couple tools from Galaxy ToolShed, but without the admin account, I am not able to do it.

If anyone has a better tutorial, or can link me to a previous link, it' would be greatly appreciated.

You need to change galaxy.ini.sample to galaxy.ini. You also then need to restart Galaxy.

It's important to remove only the hash (#) and NOT the extra spaces before it. YML format is sensitive to whitespace and the line will be ignored if indent is tampered with. For example, spot the difference between these two images (one has Admin panel, one does not):
