Cufflinks: exceeded memory limit (31836604 > 31457280), being killed

Hi Everybody,

I ran cufflinks on my data, I used 30G RAM, but I still get the following strange error:

slurmstepd: Job 2164714 exceeded memory limit (31836604 > 31457280), being killed

Shall I increase the amount of RAM for this job to fix the issue?

I appreciate any help

Yes. If you have double available go for 60G.

Yeah, now I'm using 100 giga, but Cufflinks takes a lot of time to finish (~20h), I run it on bam file of 4Giga.
