What is co-assembly

Hello, biostars! I tried to find the definition of co-assembly but failed. What's the difference between assembly and co-assembly?

Could anyone give some advice? Thanks.

It depends upon what you are doing .

In general co-assembly or coassembly is something like

assembly in several stages and/or from several subunits.

"An assembly that has been assembled in stages, often by different people, from subassemblies"

Assembly will go on in a single stage, respectively.
