I've searched NCBI

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov , using the following topics:

Bioconductor package OR Bioinformatics software

Most of the papers I saw were published in the following journals:

BMC Genomics

BMC Bioinformatics

PLoS ONE

PLOS Computational Biology

Plos Genetics

Front Genet

Nucleic acids research

Briefings in Bioinformatics

Genome Biology

as well as in many special medical journals.

I would say, that's about it.
