Map GCF to accession number
Hello,
can there be such file that combines GCF string with the accession number of a given genome, so that these two values can be mapped to each other?

If you know the species name then see an alternate option I mentioned there.
I was inspired by this question. It seem there are a lot of gaps in the NCBI databases that do not connect data to each other.
This is a new development (GCF#'s, if I recall) and the right file probably has not been produced (or if it is there someone like us has not found it yet). It may be possible to devise a clever e-utils solutions to get this info as well.
