What are some good platforms to exhibit bioinformatics skills online?

Can anyone suggest some good online platform where one can exhibit bioinformatics skills? Biostar is of course one of them where sharing and helping others shows how knowledgeable one person is.

Apart from it, are there any other portals? I have heard of Rosalind but that is specific to programming.

It depends on the skills you want to demonstrate. For programming skills, make your code public on your web site or some repository-hosting service. If you want to showcase your scientific competences, then contributions to papers are still the most highly rated thing in academia but you can top that up by writing knowledgeable and insightful articles on your own blog.
