I recently updated my version of IGB and I am now unable to load the chromosome.txt data that previously loaded fine. It is also showing all of my different data tracks on different screens and I can't work out how to consolidate them.

I get an error message saying "Cannot locate the partial sequence. Try loading the full sequence."

The problem with chromosomes.txt is related to a a known issue that has now been resolved on our development branch and will soon be released in IGB 8.5.3 (https://jira.transvar.org/browse/IGBF-1077). Unfortunately this was a regression on our end over previous versions. If you would like, you can get a copy of our development build of igb from http://eos.transvar.org/igb/ to work around the issue. Another option would be to modify your data sources to use the names we use internally for the genome version you are using for the reference sequence. For most formats this is easy enough if you have some unix experience.

Presumably, IGB is unable to load reference sequence for the chromosome names used in your data (I assume this is why you started using chromosomes.txt in the first place), and this is leading to the "Cannot locate the partial sequence. Try loading the full sequence." message.

I do not know what you mean by "It is also showing all of my different data tracks on different screens", so please attach a screen shot so I can follow up on if this is a bug.

Hope this helps in some way!

Best Regards,
David Norris - IGB Software Developer
