HHpred threading or homology ?
Hi, I can't figure out if HHpred should be considered as a trading tool (like I-Tasser) or a homology detection tool (like Psi-Blast).
Let's say, I build a model using an HHpred template, it's homology modelling or threading?

It is not a threading tool like ITasser.
It is closer to Psi-Blast conceptually, but you should read up on what a Hidden Markov Model is doing with the data to really understand the concept.
