The suitable Amazon EC2 reserved instance for analyzing RNAseq dataset

Hey,

I'll be re-analyzing RNAseq dataset (size~500GB). I wanted to use Amazon EC2 computing cloud, but I can't determine which instance to use. I need a year- reserved instance with the following specs: 1TB storage, at least 16G (preferably 64) RAM, and about 16-cores CPU.

Could anyone help me to choose the right one?

My suggestion is to go with dedicated storage (s3) and on-demand instance/spot instance (EC2) instead of dedicated instance. However, EC2 instance depends on your data size, work flow and how fast you want results. It is better to consult IT dept for this.
