Comparison Of Translation Profiles With Mirna Transcription Profiles

Hi,

We would like to conduct an experiment comparing the transcription profiles of miRNAs with the translation profiles from ribosomal footprinting.

Can anyone point me to a paper/source/??? which has demonstrated something like this? Did anyone already try it?

Is there software to help us do such an analysis?
