Gene Ontology term
Hi,
I would like to anlyze GO term with the list of differentially expressed genes obtained by RNA-Seq (DESeq2). Can I retrieve the GO term from the Swiss Prot Accession number. Although it is available manually one by one on the GO website, but I have thousand of genes to find the GO term. Any idea about it?

Hi
You can use Biomart: http://uswest.ensembl.org/biomart/martview/86a23eac0753d5f2219d1cb64810ca04
After you select the specie you are interested you can put your gene list in the Filters, specify that those are Swissprot IDs, then select Go Term Name and Go Term Definition under Attributes-> External
