Tool: LinkedIn PubMed Importer

Until LinkedIn allows us to import our publications directly from ResearchGate, Google Scholar, Pubmed,... the LinkedIn's publications' section can be populated by searching by PubMed ID or by DOI though this GreaseMonkey script:

LinkedIn PubMed Importer v1.4

greasemonkey linkedin pubmed doi

This is a life safer, it is really useful. I don't understand why LinkedIn doesn't support a better interface for publications. I would recommend you to post it to other scientific communities, e.g. http://academia.stackexchange.com/

I'm not a user of that site, but feel free to do so. in fact I suggested the author to publish it around the web, since it was around for quite a while and I discovered it completely by chance. I even begged the LinkedIn helpdesk to do some effort on this, or to build some kind of connection between other publication repositories such as research gate or google scholar, and they just answered me that I was right, that their interface was so poor that there wasn't even a way to sort the publications other than the current LILO stack (last in last out, i.e. the last one you enter goes at the very bottom, which in fact should be the other way round; at least they could simply sort them by published date!).
