circular genome representation on GenBank
Can someone help in telling me how circular genomes are represented in GenBank?
I mean how they determine the point where the sequence is cut and then is shown in linear form?
Is it standard procedure (in this case, may you explain it) or it is done randomly?

As far as I know, GenBank include sequences that are submitted to them. In doing so, your question should be more like, how the people that do sequencing of circular genomes do that. Where they put primers to start sequencing . Depending on what organism you are interested in, it may vary.
