UC San Diego has launched a Bioinformatics Specialization on Coursera: https://www.coursera.org/specialization/bioinformatics/34.

This Specialization features six courses with two learning tracks aimed at biologists and computer sciences, respectively. The six courses culminate in a Capstone sponsored by Illumina in which learners will use Illumina's BaseSpace cloud platform to apply existing bioinformatics software tools to biological big datasets.

The first three courses have already launched, with the next round of courses beginning August 31.
