On behalf of the International Society for Computational Biology's Regional Student Group for the UK (RSG UK), we are pleased to announce that the call is now open for the submission of abstracts to the Second Bioinformatics Student Symposium. Inspired by a successful first edition of the event in 2014, this event will take place on the 7th October, 2015, at The Genome Analysis Centre (TGAC) in Norwich.
We invite you to submit your work for presentation (poster/oral), or register to attend the event, by visiting our website: http://rsg-uk.iscbsc.org/
ISCB RSG-UK welcomes students and early career researchers from all areas of computational Biology to join our community. We hope for the Symposium to be a forum for students, postdocs, and young researchers in the fields of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures by several key-note speakers and post-docs, build a network within the computational biology community of the UK.
We encourage students to submit an abstract to showcase your work at the Symposium's poster session. Awards will be given to outstanding posters. Travel fellowships will be available and candidates with accepted abstracts will be invited to apply.

- Travel Fellowship Call opens: September 16, 2015
- Travel Fellowship Application Closes: September 25, 2015
