Job Description

The postdoctoral position is focused on development and application of computational methodologies on regulatory genomics, epigenomics, and transcriptomics. Of particular interest includes but is not limited to understanding the structure, function, and variation of RNA, chromatin, and regulatory network. The methodologies will be broadly applied to precision genomic medicine such as neurological diseases, aging, and cancer.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with a Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.

  1. Solid quantitative background with demonstrated ability to design and implement models and algorithms.
  2. Cutting-edge knowledge in genomics/epigenomics/transcriptomics with research experience on next generation sequencing data.
  3. Programming experience in a UNIX/Linux environment using a script language (e.g., Python) and a statistical language (e.g., R).
