There is a new book - "Bioinformatics: Principles and Applications". Does anybody know anything about the book? It's not a very expensive book. I'd buy it if it's not a waste of my time. What do you think?

I have no clue. It sounds fine. But I write this comment because I get confused somehow and really wish that someone explain this. This book on oxford website (UK domain) is published 2008: http://ukcatalogue.oup.com/product/9780195692303.do

While on oxford (India domain) it is published 2015: http://www.oup.co.in/product/higher-education/science-mathematics/biotechnology/5/bioinformatics-principles-applications-1e/9780195692303

And on Amazon UK, it is published 2008: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bioinformatics-Applications-Dr-Zhumar-Ghosh/dp/0195692306

Note, all links (whether 2008 or 2015) display that it is the 1st edition.

So, it sounds as re-printed in 2015.

hmm, I'm not sure as well maybe you're right. It's already end of march, but the book is still available for purchase (it says available from march). No idea.
