Webbed Toes As Proof Of Parentage
In 1974 a young woman living in a communal family gave birth to a baby with webbed toes. The woman and her brother (also a member of the family) both had webbed toes. The young woman concluded to her horror that her brother had fathered the baby.
Indiscriminate group sex, often under the influence of a variety of drugs, was commonplace; so morality aside, the young woman and her brother might have had sex in their drug-addled state without being aware of it.
I want to know if the young woman's conclusion was correct? 100% certain? Or could another male in the family have been the father?

That sounds like a nice homework question :)
That sounds like a nice homework question :) Plus, it doesn't have much to do with bioinformatics, the theme of this forum.
