How To Combine Contigs Produced By Minimus Using Mate Pair Info?

AMOS has this light weight assembler "minimus" for BAC assembly. However it is designed to produce many fragmented contigs (of high accuracy). The manual suggest to further join the contigs using mate pair info. But I am not sure how to do that. Can someone give me some suggestions? Thanks!

The Bambus tool is part of AMOS and may be able to do this. Otherwise you could give SSPACE or SOPRA a try.
