File format for MAGIA tool

Hallo,

I would like to perform some analysis using a MAGIA tool, but I do not know how to get/create appropriate file format. In paper about MAGIA or tutorial of MAGIA provider is written that I should use a miRNA or gene expression matrix. I know that this matrix is just a processed raw data, but in case of my record I want to analyze, the processed data do not fit to MAGIA requirements. Can you suggest me something, please? I would like to analyze data from GEO - GSE23739.

Regards!

Hi

It would help if you mention what you want to do, or explain with MAGIA does or a link. It is easier get people interested in the question.

Thanks for suggestion ;)

MAGIA is a tool for some mRNA - microRNA analysis. The thing is that I cannot analyze my data, because I do not know how to get or prepare file with an appropriate format. Here are all information about the tool: http://gencomp.bio.unipd.it/magia/documentation/

I am interested in Integrative analysis WITH NOT MATCHED expression matrices.

Thanks in advanced.

I think you should have edited your question, not answer it. Anyway. Could you edit your question to say how exactly is you data? And why it doesn't match MAGIA requirements. I guess you have two matrix of expression values, ones for miRNAs, and one for mRNA. And you want to detect miRNA-mRNA interaction using these two matrices?

Could you add as well information about how many samples? time points? and replicates in case?

Cheers
