Meta-Analysis Question using GEO2R
Im using data from GEO and the GEO2R online analysis tool provided by NCBI. The GEO2R analysis give adjusted P, P, t scores. I have 5-10 studies using the GEO2R tool.
Is there a way to combine all these scores and filter out only significant genes.
Should I convert the P or T scores into Z scores and then I could follow the z=E(zk)/sqrt(K) to create a consensus z -score (union of genes).
R script by GEO2R does does a log2 normalization. Do I do a z score after this step or before.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
