UCD Computational and Molecular Biology Symposium 2016

The organising committee for the 7th annual Computational and Molecular Biology Symposium is pleased to announce that abstract submission is still open for poster and oral presentations. The symposium will be held in the Conway Institute, University College Dublin on the 1st and 2nd of December 2016. The aims of the symposium are to highlight recent advances in computational biology and bioinformatics, and to promote the professional and scientific development of students from a diverse range of fields within computational and molecular biology. The event will feature keynote lectures by seven prestigious speakers, including Dr. Alex Bateman of the European Bioinformatics Institute, Professor Chris Ponting of the University of Edinburgh, and Professor Elaine Holmes of Imperial College London (please see http://compmolbiosymp.ucd.ie/keynote-speakers/ for details).

Abstract submission will be open until the 20th of November. Early stage researchers, including undergraduate students, post-graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, are particularly encouraged to apply. Abstracts can be submitted via our website http://compmolbiosymp.ucd.ie/submit-an-abstract/.

Registration (with or without abstract submission) will be open until the 20th of November. ISCB members will receive a 20% discount on the price of registration.
