Which Kind Of Tool Could I Use To Study A Few Palindromic Sites?

Hello, which kind of tool could I use to study a few palindromic sites (20-30 bp long)? In detail, my goal is to get some ideas on their possible functions, so I thought I could have tried to see whether they matched to a database of PSWM, but I failed (I used Clover and Possum). I also think I could look at secondary structures, but the tools I know are menat to design primers. Maybe there are more specific tools to study such palindromes. Any approach is welcome.

Is 20-30nt the full length of the palindromes or it is only half of it?
