i have a phenotype that i want to investigate, say phenotype A. and i also get a sequence 1. i want to search that if the species get the sequence 1 would obtain phenotype A(or the degree difference), and the species do not have the sequence 1, do not have phenotype A. what is the correlation between sequence 1 and phenotype A?

i want to study the relationship among all mammals.

how should i proceed?

is there any paper that related?

any help would be appreciated!

Thanks a lot !

I’ve changed this from a Tutorial to a question. Tutorials are for posters offering tutorials, not for requesting one.

Reading your question it looks like you might be interested in an approach similar to genome wide association mapping. This is a review I found, there are many similar papers.
