Please I have a Biochemistry background, I am relatively new to Bioinformatics.

Please I need a work flow of how I can study "Thioredoxin Reductase" as Drug Target in Giardia using secondary data (public databases data like sequences and information) and free/open source tools.

I won't mind a collaboration with someone who is established in secondary data analysis related to vector borne diseases, infectious diseases and neglected tropical diseases.

Study it how? What do you actually want to find out?

First you need to study about that enzyme, and know its complete pathway and identify how it can be targeted. Find out its active sites. Then from literature or database such as chembl you can identify possible compounds which can target that enzyme.

And later probable you can go for docking, pharmacophore modelling etc.
