weird number in log2FC

does somebody knows why do I have weird numbers in base mean and log2FC. 4 points in one number? thanks

Did you use excel at some point in your analysis ? Its automatic formating can be a pain sometimes.

PS: I think your question lacks some context. Where does your data come from ? And what have you done with it to obtain those numbers ?

Looks like decimal delimiter and float delimiter are the same here. Both "."

Thanks for answering.

I analyzed data with deseq2 and using write.table I extracted. When I open it in windows environment it looks like this. write.table(Shrunkorder , "Treated_vs_ControlshrunkOrder.txt",sep="\t",col.names=T,row.names=T, quote=F)

I noticed thattThe problem occures when I try to open it by excel.

Try to include dec="," as well in the write.table command, specially if your excel recognize the "," as the decimal digit
