Is there any package for converting qPCR Ct values to the genome copy number. I already have standards required to fit the curve.

Thanks.

You could do the calculations following the ΔΔ Ct (delta delta Ct) method. You don't need a package to do this - one could easily code it. The final inferred copy number would be:

2^-ΔΔCt

A value of 1 from this would relate to copy number 2, i.e., normal copy number; a value of 0.5 would relate to copy number 1; a value of 2 would relate to copy number 4.

There is a lot of information online about this formula. Just use a search engine to search for that information.

I didn't know about this. I will try to look for it.

Thanks

Okay, no problem! Just remember that, for this method, you will require a control DNA sample, and also Ct values for control targets, like, 'housekeeper' genes.
