question about 10x genomics output: filtered_gene_bc_matrices versus raw_gene_bc_matrices

Hi

I am newbie in single cell RNA-seq. I have ouput of 10x genomics. I wonder what the difference is between

"filtered_gene_bc_matrices" and "raw_gene_bc_matrices"?

According to the 10X documentation:

• raw_gene_bc_matrices: Contains every barcode from fixed list of known-good barcode sequences. This includes background and non-cellular barcodes.
• filtered_gene_bc_matrices: Contains only detected cellular barcodes.
