Dear All,

I have a protein sequence "NP_001318.1". I would really appreciate answer to this query below:

a) Find "domains" in the protein sequence?

Running it through InterPro will give you the domains present in the sequence

An alternative is doing a blast on NCBI webblast which will also indicate you the domains (from CDD in that case)

To me it looks an assignment, yet, go to NCBI and paste the code "NP_001318.1", on the right side under the "Analyze this sequence " section, click the "Identify Conserved Domains" and get your answer.
