Hi,

I was wondering where would one go if one would like to apply for commercial bioinformatics projects. Are there any mailing lists or sites for small businesses to apply for. I am not talking about freelancer small gigs but professional medium/large projects that require from applicants certain guarantees, equipment, resources (man/woman power, machines) and established legal frameworks. That is to say professional gigs only...

Any clues ?

PS

I am only interested into projects within EU countries.

Can you clarify if you yourself want to apply for such a project or you want people to apply for a project you have?

Edit: Based on your response in this thread (A: Bioinformatics Service Providers ) you appear to represent a service provider. You should consider editing the title and body of this post since it does not make it clear that you are offering said services. If I am getting this all wrong then feel free to correct me/add clarification to your post.

NO that was simply a post to help the OP.... Which promoted me to ask a question in the context " I am looking for a project" (not "I am offering a project").

PS

I represent only myself :)

Edit:

I see many job positions by companies being posted but what I am interested is where do those companies get their jobs from. This does not include academia position as those are payed by the tax payers . Their ought to be a market place for them ... right?

While you say

I represent only myself :)

you are asking about

Aren't those two things contradictory? That said, allseq/GenoHub would be places to list, if you are authorized to represent a group that can offer analysis services.

I am not sure I get the meaning of your last edit but I don't think we have that many third-party job postings on Biostars. Most of the times it is someone from that company/institution that does the posting. There are plenty of common aggregators for open jobs/positions (e.g. indeed.com etc).
