Normal pediatric brain samples (RNA-Seq/ Whole-Genome-Bisulfite)

Dear fellow researchers,

I am struggling with the following problem - I am conducting a study on pediatric brain tumors, but to make my analysis complete, I would need normal/ healthy pediatric brain samples as controls.

I searched the internet for public/ non-public data bases, but all I could find was (at best) affymetrix data. Does anyone of you know a database, which has RNA-Seq (ribosomal depleated) and Whole-Genome-Bisulfite data for normal pediatric brain??

The Human Developmental Biology Resource (HDBR) has got RNA-Seq data for pre-natal brains. It may be worth contacting them to check if they have the data you are looking for.

That might be difficult to find, because that would require healthy kids undergo brain surgery for getting the samples. Just saying.

I know...what is sometimes done is that brain tissue is taken from patients, who died of some condition not related to the nerval system. This is the sad part of the story...
