I'm a student about to graduate (bachelors) in Botany in next 2 months and was an average student in this field but pretty good at coding. I don't really want to carry on in any botany related fields, but sure want to study Bioinformatics as I found a really good match of biology and coding there (I can see a great use of my skills there). Since INDIA has almost nothing to serve in the field of bioinformatics, will it be good enough if I seek education in other countries in this field? Or is it going to be wasteful if I studied there and could not make up for a fair living? I really want to make my career in Bioinformatics
Should I go out their and search for a career? Is it the right time? Are industries really giving out good jobs in this area? Or should I change my stream of study entirely? Are there even jobs in this area, since going out of INDIA and studying is really a big deal of money!
