Heritability of pigmentation traits

I know that many pigmentation traits (skin, hair and eye color) are highly heritable. For instance, I assume that the heritability of eye color should be high.

I've been trying to find articles estimating heritability of these traits either based on twin studies or using more modern methods based on GWAS SNP data, for instance calculated using GCTA or LDAK, but couldn't find any.

Have you tried to search pubmed? If so you would have found this review: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3491390/

I checked several, including that one. Maybe I am completely missing it, but I still can't find on that paper any estimate of heritability.

What do you mean by estimate? The trait is heritable, are you looking for a quantitative prediction?

Yes, I was looking for the actual value. Thank you anyway.

Heritability of Skin Color 1) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC212702/

2) https://genepi.qimr.edu.au/contents/p/staff/CV018.pdf (h2 ranging from 0.37 to 0.83)

Probably for eye color will be harder, since it is usually not quantitatively measured.

Great! Thanks for this! If you come up with a study using GWAS SNP data please let me know :)
