Hey

I have a DNA sequence (enhancer) from C57BL/6NJ strain. I find http://www.sanger.ac.uk/science/data/mouse-genomes-project to find out the SNPs etc. The question is can somebody tell me how can I know the conservation of this sequence across different mice strains? Is there any webpage or tool I can use to find out the conservation score etc?

Thank you!

Start here. You can visually compare among strains for a given gene/region. This should do what you want. Alternatively, if you want to compare across the entire genome, you can combine VCFs across strains of interest and calculate metrics that way; you can get strain-specific information from Sanger the same way you got your C57BL/6 data.

I did! but it only shows the SNPs site. Is it possible for me to obtain a score? Like how do i know it is conserved? Thank you for replying me.
