problem with TASSEL 4.2.1, data is not getting transformed

Hi community,

I am using TASSEL 4.2.1 version for association mapping, in that when I choose the transformation option to transform genotyping data to numerical, it is not getting transformed. The file has 400000 SNPs. suggest me some alternate ideas to solve this issue. your response will greatly helpful

Are you getting any java heap size error? (example: "Could not reserve enough space for object heap")

java -version will give you the verbose version information, which should indicate whether your installed JVM is a 32 or 64-bit build.

A 64-bit JVM should have no problem with the higher memory limits.

Also try updating to TASSEL 5.2.6 (the latest version)

I increased the heap size even though the data is not getting transformed.

Before starting jvm just check how much RAM is available and then set memory accordingly.
