Hi all,

We are trying to use the Isaac Variant Aligner and have an issue with the reference file. We used the ready made reference file from Illumina and when tried to unpack the file for processing we got the error:

[2015-03-16 15:28:22] [localhost] [Temp/genome.fa-32mer-6bit-00.xml] std::exception::what: Failed to open bitset file "Temp/genome-neighbors-32mer.dat" for reading: No such file or directory
[2015-03-16 15:28:22] [localhost] [Temp/genome.fa-32mer-6bit-00.xml] : Failed to open bitset file "Temp/genome-neighbors-32mer.dat" for reading: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [Temp/genome.fa-32mer-6bit-00.xml] Error 1

Could anyone please let us know what this error might mean and anyway to resolve it?

Thanks in advance.

have you tried installing isaac using cloudbiolinux (might be the easiest way around this error). See this post
