Do people still use I2B2 for their clinical data warehousing?

A lot of projects don't just produce omics data but also large heterogeneous sets of clinical / phenotypic data.

I am wondering what people are using for that, I2B2 or something else (opensource?). From the activity on the their wiki / website it looks a bit past its peak?
