Hello everyone

MPICH2 were used to ensure mrbayes were run in multiple cores or CPUs on my server, but I found multiple processes of mrbayes were jumped from one cores to another, and now I want to bind these processes to specific cores or CPUs, I am a new of computer and I don't know how to do, if you have some suggestions, please help me.

The answer ends up being dependent on your cluster. It's often the case that you can tell your scheduler (e.g. LSF, Slurm, PBS, etc.) how many total cores to allocate toward a job and then have the job bound to them. Having said that, this also ends up being dependent on the process scheduler used on the nodes themselves.

Thank you, I have solved it with taskset command, thanks for your nice advice again.
