  1. From where did you obtain your data?
  2. How did you process it?
  3. Describe your experimental setup.
  4. Which technology did you use (microarray?; RNA-seq?; fluidigm?; real-time qPCR?)
  5. Paste an example of your results.

i got the data from GEO, the study is based on understanding the differential expression of RNA transcripts and proteins. micro-array and mass spectrophotometry was used to analyze . I used DEGseq to find the Differential expressed genes but there is one columns(SIGNATURE) in the table which i was unable to understand . what is the significance of the signature values true and false? what do you interpret if the signature is true or the signature is false?

results:

gene_no value1 value2 log2_Fold_change log2_Fold_change_normalized pval qval1 qval2 Signature g_1 23424.67 9990.328 1.229424774 0.232541124 0 0 0 TRUE
g_2 341.6557 461.68 -0.43435004 -1.43123369 0 0 TRUE

'Signature' is an unfortunate choice of word. If it is TRUE, it means that the gene is statistically significant at the default p-value threshold of 0.001. The Signature column, therefore, just provides for an easy filter.
