Can anyone tell me how to understand or interpret the result from localblast , in the tab delimited format? I am getting result like this :

NODE_1_length_1733100_cov_8.771358 NZ_JMSZ01000042.1 76.23 345 80 2 85391 85734 276296 275953 9e-43 182

You can find this information in google easily enough:

https://edwards.sdsu.edu/research/blast-output-8/

This assumes you used output format 8 and left all settings as defaults. You should edit your question with the command you used to generate that output though else we’re just stabbing in the dark really.

query | subject | %id | alignment | mismatches | openings | query | query | subject | subject | E-value | bitscore
       | | | length | | | start | end | start | end | |
